Gary Asmus Home Repair

Gary came to my house to work on an outside and inside drywall project that has been a real sore eye for a while. He did a great job. Changed that outside many years old cardboard into solid wood and made it look like new again. He also leaves everything clean and spotless when he leaves. You would never know there was a job done. I loved his work and how professional he was during the times he had to return. Fun to get to know him and I will be calling him again you can count on it.

Had an emergency fan repair on a Saturday and called Gary. The fan was hanging by just the two power wires right over our bed and ready to fall. Gary was able to make time in his busy schedule to stop by and fix it for us in short order. He was a real God-send and I look forward to using him again in the future.

I had Gary work on water damage under the kitchen sink. It was a great fix and he cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We have a two-story home with a front entryway with a very high ceiling. For some time now, small sheets of paint have been peeling and falling from the ceiling. Gary came over the other day and gave a quick, reasonable estimate, so we agreed to have him fix the problem. He arrived this morning, on time and ready to work. He fixed the problem and cleaned up after himself. Now, nobody will notice the ceiling in our entryway because it looks perfectly normal, which is what we wanted. Give Gary a call. He does great work.

Gary has been doing several projects for us while we prep our home for sale. Gary did an outstanding job taping and painting my bathroom ceiling. He was efficient and came with all the supplies he needed for the job. I’d have him for any job I needed done in my house.

I hired Gary to fix a long list of items that needed repair to get my house ready to put on the market. The items on the list required several skill sets ranging from plumbing, replacing door handles, painting, putting sealer on a wood ceiling, spray washing the house among others. He is a perfectionist and did a great job on everything he repaired and gave me his opinion on some items that I needed to contract out. I would highly recommend him.

Gary did a great job fixing some repairs at our home! To begin with, Gary returns phone calls and shows up when he says he will. That alone makes him better than many other vendors I have encountered. He tightened fixtures in our bathrooms, repaired drywall, and fixed doors that were not hung correctly. Gary is personable, professional, and reliable. If he were a movie, I’d give him 5 bags of popcorn!!!

After having our house re-plumbed, we needed to have several drywall spots repaired. Gary Asmus did the repairs and what terrific work he did. The repairs are great and all we had to do was paint the spots. We definitely will call him again for a few other things we need done. Gary Asmus recently completed projects for me to include adding wood trim to a workshop, new drainline from both air conditioners and repairing some cracks in my block fence. He did a great job. Would have no problem using him for future jobs.

Gary came out the very next day and did some work for me. What he couldn’t do he referred me to someone that could. I will definitely use him in the future and have already referred him to my friends.

Gary Asmus is the first handyman I’ve had that I can count on to show up at the time we designate, and to professionally do all of the repairs on my extensive list. He is very attentive to make your house look glorious!! I am 80 years old so it is a great relief to me when I see a repair needed in my house, for me to say to myself, “I need to call Gary.” Also, he has the correct cleaning solutions to do a job quickly and well, something I am not capable of doing anymore. Gary lives in the Neighborside news area so if he needs a specific tool at home, he can run home to get it quickly. Keep Gary’s name and phone number handy on your refrigerator or in your cell phone for any repair projects you need done. Gary does everything – painting, stucco repair, electrical projects. WHAT DO YOU NEED DONE? He can do it. Very highly recommended.
